Maria Cardelli

Maria Cardelli is a professional illustrator and fine artist.
Her illustrations, some of which are now available as limited edition prints, have been published in various prestigious magazines and books, like Illustration Now! published by Taschen and 200 Best Illustrators Worldwide, by Lurzer's Archive, just to mention a few.
Although her illustrations are primarily related to fashion, lifestyle and architecture, Maria's paintings are inspired by anything that will trigger her interpretive imagination.
Her subjects comprise figurative work, as well as landscapes.
Maria's use of unconventional materials and mediums allows her to create images with a strong graphic impact and a translucent-three dimensional effect that makes her work striking, unique and recognizable.
Maria has partecipated to exhibitions in the USA, Australia, Italy, France, Luxembourg and in The Netherlands.
Some of Maria's works are in permanent exhibits of the Australian Academy of Design in Melbourne, Australia
