Lilith Lindner (*1978) studied at the Maastricht Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands. Today, she lives and works in Cologne, Germany.
In her artwork, she transforms everyday materials such as old cardboard boxes or magazines playing with the structure and innate characteristics of those materials. Using a sharp knife, she works her way towards deeper layers until formerly hidden cut-outs and structures emerge.
“The way Lilith Lindner uses paper teaches us in a wonderful and quiet manner that we have to look underneath the surface in order to find pure and genuine imagination.” (Stefan Skowron)
